QUOTES - SLAVERY

“Ken Mercer’s ‘Slavery 101’ is the untold, true history of how

new Christians of the “Great Awakening”

fought to ABOLISH human Slavery!”

Human slavery is evil. Imagine this is the year 1776. There are at least three things our Founding Fathers understood about slavery:

1. Human slavery was almost 8,000 years old.
2. In 1776, not one country in the entire world had abolished slavery.
3. A minimum of 95% of slaves from Africa were kidnapped and sold into slavery, by fellow African tribes. Specifically, the one thousand years of the “Arab-Muslim Slave Trade.”

Again, I believe human slavery is evil. But why do ‘Critical Race Theory’ and the ‘1619 Project’ fail to share these historical facts?

Modern Human Slavery of our children women and men - is what I refer to as ‘EDS.’ Human Slavery is Evil, Demonic and Satanic.”.
— Ken Mercer, Chosen Generation Radio with Pastor Greg Young
Despite years of Black History Februarys, many know little to nothing about the vast role played by Arab and Muslim slavers in the African slave trade.

The practice began centuries before European slavers bought and transported slaves out of Africa and continued well after European slavery ended.
— Larry Elder, Attorney and nationally recognized African American radio talk show host.
Of all the tragic facts about the history of slavery, the most astonishing to an American today is that, although slavery was a worldwide institution for thousands of years, nowhere in the world was slavery a controversial issue prior to the 18th century.
— Dr. Thomas Sowell, BA Harvard, MA Columbia, PhD University of Chicago, Senior Fellow at Stanford University Hoover Institution
By 1804, all of the New England states as well as Vermont, New York, and New Jersey had either completely abolished slavery or enacted positive laws for the gradual abolition of it.

This is four years before the Federal Congress ends the slave trade, and almost three decades before England votes to follow suit and abolish slavery.
— David Barton, Wallbuilders
Resolved, that as slavery was the cause, and now continues the strength of this rebellion, and as it must be, always and everywhere, hostile to the principles of Republican government...

furthermore, as such an amendment to the Constitution to be made by the people...

as shall terminate and forever prohibit the existence of Slavery within the limits of the jurisdiction of the United States.
— Republican Party Platform of 1864, promise of a 13th Amendment to our Constitution to FOREVER ABOLISH SLAVERY in all states and territories.
Again, slavery was legally abolished by the United States of America in 1865. Almost 100 years later, these are the last five nations to abolish slavery (at least on paper):

1952 Qatar
1962 Yemen
1962 Saudi Arabia
1963 United Arab Emirates
1981 Mauritania
— Ken Mercer, Slavery 101, chapter on the "Last Nation to Abolish Slavery" using data and analysis from the Global Slavery Index (GSI)
There are more human slaves today than at any other time in the history of our world. Every night over 40 MILLION children, women and men go to bed praying for a Moses and a Deliverer. I challenge the 21st Century Church to be that Moses. We must be their Deliverer.
— Ken Mercer, Wallbuilders Radio with Rick Green
It is estimated that possibly as many as 11 million Africans were transported across the Atlantic, 95% of which went to South and Central America, mainly to Portuguese, Spanish and French possessions, only 5% of the slaves ended up in what we call the United States today.

However, a minimum of 28 million were enslaved in the Muslim Middle East.
— Dr. John Allembillah Azumah (Ghana, Africa) former Muslim who converted to Christianity, PhD in Islamic Studies - Birmingham University, United Kingdom (Azumah estimates 550,000 (5%) of the 11,000,000 African slaves were transported to what is now the United States
The savage chiefs of the western coasts of Africa, who for ages have been accustomed to selling their captives into bondage and pocketing the ready cash for them, will NOT more readily accept our moral and economical ideas than the slave traders of Maryland and Virginia.
— Rev Frederick Douglass, Ordained Minister (AME ZION Church) gifted Orator, Abolitionist, Freedman, Counsel to Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant
A conservative estimate is that between the years 1580 and 1680, over 850,000 white, Christian, European children, women, and men were captured and sold into slavery. By the year 1780, the number may have increased to as high as 1,250,000 slaves.
— BBC report on the Muslim Slave raids in small coastal villages in Europe - White Slavery
More whites were brought as slaves to North Africa than blacks brought as slaves to the United States or to the 13 colonies from which it was formed.

Whites slaves were still being bought and sold in the Ottoman Empire, decades after blacks were freed in the United States.
— Dr. Thomas Sowell, comparing the 450,000 to 550,000 slaves transported across the Atlantic to the United States - to the 1,250,000 white, Europeans kidnapped by the Arab Slave Trade and sold as slaves in North Africa.
(Note: Below refers to the Arab-Muslim slave trade of North Africa)

British writer Duncan Clarke tells us that male slaves and young boys were castrated and had their male sex organs manipulated.

The Atlanta Black Star corroborates this with a statement of boys between the ages of eight and twelve having their male organs completely amputated to become a eunuch and prevent them from reproducing.

This account has a minimum of 60 percent of the captured boy slaves bleeding to death (before reaching the slave market)..
— Ken Mercer, Slavery 101 - Chapter on "The Muslim Slave Trade." If 28 million slaves were sold (AFTER a 60%-80% death rate), then how many Africans were victims of the Arab-Muslim slave raids?
